Dear Jolt Reader,
National Review’s offices are closed to day in observation of Good Friday.
To our friends who celebrate Easter, we wish you the graces that come with embracing Lent and the redemption brought by Christ’s Resurrection.
For our friends who believe otherwise, we nonetheless wish you peace, goodwill, and those blessings the Ancient of Days bestows on good people.
We suggest three articles that are in spirit with today and the Easter Triduum.
1. Myra Adams’s 2015 article, “What Does the Shroud of Turin Prove about Easter?”
2. Also from 2015 is George Weigel’s essay, “Easter and the Cosmic Christ.”
3. Returning to the sacred relic: Barbara Sullivan’s 1973 National Review cover story, “Reading the Shroud of Turin.”
Peace to you and yours,
Jack Fowler
