Pro-abortion extremists on Thursday vandalized a western Massachusetts pregnancy center that supports vulnerable pregnant women with maternal resources and supplies.

Police said they are investigating an incident in which vandals spray-painted “Jane’s Revenge” on benches located outside of Bethlehem House in Easthampton, Mass., with the threatening message, “If abortion isn’t safe, neither are you,” Catholic News Service first reported.

Jane’s Revenge is a decentralized pro-abortion extremist group that claimed responsibility for firebombing and otherwise defacing a string of pro-life clinics nationwide in June, following the Supreme Court’s projected reversal of Roe v. Wade.

Once the final decision was handed down, the assaults continued. After public pressure and backlash, the FBI announced it would be probing the attacks but has so far not identified any culprits. Meanwhile, a few cases of vandalization against Planned Parenthood locations have seemed to result in the quick apprehension of a suspect, CEO Jim Harden told National Review earlier this month.

Many of these centers, such as Compass Care’s Buffalo, N.Y. location, have incurred steep security and damage-repair costs after being targeted by pro-abortion militants. A spokeswoman from the Massachusetts facility told the Catholic News Service that employees fear that activists could come back to intimidate staff or women receiving help.

“I’m nervous because the clients are coming here today. We have to give diapers out in the parking lot,” Pam Hibbard, Bethlehem House director, said.

Like many of the pro-life clinics across the country, Bethlehem House, supported by the annual Catholic Appeal of the Diocese of Springfield, offers distressed expecting women an alternative to abortion but also referrals for employment, health care, and educational services, as well as post-abortion counseling. Women can pick ip free diapers, wipes, baby clothes, strollers, and car seats.

“We are not doing this for the money. We do it from the heart,” Hibbard told iObserve, the online publication of the Springfield Diocese.

Pro-abortion activists went after two other Massachusetts pregnancy centers in July, Clearway Clinic and Problem Pregnancy. The vandals violently smashed Clearway’s windows and left the familiar attribution behind on the sidewalk: “Jane’s Revenge.”
