Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s Twitter account appears to have been hacked Friday afternoon,
A pair of tweets reading “#N—-r” and “F–k N—-rs” were tweeted from Dorsey’s account around 4pm, along with a retweet reading “nazi germany did nothing wrong” and numerous other tweets and retweets, many of them obscene.

“We’re aware that @jack was compromised and investigating what happened,” Twitter’s communications team tweeted.

Twitter users immediately roasted the platform’s founder and top executive over the incident, pointing out that it does not speak well of the social media company’s security measures.
“If they can hack the CEO of Twitter’s Twitter account @jack, who is safe in these streets?” one user asked.
The incident comes as Twitter takes measures to crack down on fake accounts and the use of misinformation campaigns to spread discord.
Twitter said last week that the platform suspended a number of accounts apparently run by the Chinese government that were engaging in “coordinated inauthentic behavior” on the site regarding the pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong, such as spreading misinformation and sowing discord.
